NESTLE AND GVS TEAM UP TO PROVIDE
NATIONWIDE VENDING EXCELLENCE

Global giant Nestlé has chosen leading drink and food equipment and service provider GVS to provide engineering support, spares back up and refurbishment services for its fleet of 7,000 vending machines around the UK. GVS and Nestlé have a relationship which has developed over a number of years and has culminated in the complete handover of machine maintenance and refurbishment.
GVS now look after all Nestlé branded machines including the familiar KitKat, Vittel and Refuel Pod configurations, giving a 96% first time fix rate, attending the majority of sites in between 3 and 5 hours and almost all within 8 hours, therefore minimising downtime and lost profits. GVS is also handling the full range of Nestlé Solutions and accessories, which include the Nestlé bakery, tabletop Allora hot beverage machines and Herta grills.
The PDI department at the GVS head office in Surrey is now handling over 100 machines per week with the Service Control Call Centre receiving and coordinating up to 200 service calls a day. The GVS team of over seventy highly skilled field-based engineers across the UK provide a prompt and high quality service to Nestlé customers.
In order to facilitate the changes, GVS has invested considerably in both its warehouse facilities and PDI department to ensure that the high standard which both Nestlé and GVS customers have come to expect continue with the increased volume of machines passing through the department. A new spray booth has been installed and extra staff have been employed to provide a standard of renovation which is second to none. Extra staff have also been taken on in the logistics department to ensure timely deliveries and collections for clients.
